CHALLENGE:
This Sunday’s Gospel – Solemnity of All Saints - Today we honor those holy men and women who have gone before us in faith and have done so in a glorious way. As we honor these great champions of faith, let’s reflect upon who they are and what role they continue to play in the life of the Church.
The Gospel (The Beatitudes) assigned for this Solemnity is just fitting. Could it be that those Saints who has gone before us possess the Beatitudes? Yes, they did, and some might have possessed all of them. Is Jesus telling us that this should be our guiding attitudes? Yes, it should be because he promised, “Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be GREAT in heaven.” Amen, the saints are gloriously rewarded!
Matthew 5:1-12A
If you can attend Mass in person and you are longing for Him in the Eucharist, then He wants to see you.
Come to Mass this Sunday and be transformed by His Word and by the Eucharist.
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, Not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:7
