Year 2 Candidates and Sponsors will have a Ritual – “Blessing of Sponsors & Candidates” on November 15 at the 5pm Youth Mass. Please arrive at 4:30pm with your Sponsors for further instructions. We expect that you will be at your Sunday’s Best Attire.

2020 Fall Retreat – December 11 & 12
We will be offering a Fall Retreat for our Confirmation and High School Teens. This will be a 2 day Retreat on December 11 & 12 (Friday and Saturday). Details of time and schedule will be announced in this bulletin in a later time. You may register online or to the office. This will be a first come, first serve basis as participants will be limited. So please register early.
Annual Christmas Toy-Give-Away
We are asking our Year 1 & 2 Candidates, Parents, Sponsors and the Community of St. Martha to Donate New and Unwrapped toys for our Annual Christmas Toy-Give-Away. Our Toy-Give-Away will be held on December 19. Please drop your toy donation in the Rectory or at the Youth Office. “Let us all put a smile and cheer to our most unfortunate children in our parish & community!”
Challenge
32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time – In this week’s Gospel, Jesus talks about what it means to be prepared to receive the Kingdom of Heaven. This week’s reading follows a series of warnings and predictions by Jesus about the coming of the Son of Man. Jesus wants his disciples to understand that the exact day and time cannot be predicted. He teaches the disciples that they must remain vigilant so that they will not be caught unprepared. Are your prepared for the coming of the Son of Man? Let us not be caught asleep but instead be prepared and let our faith be awaken and alive!
